I was both born and raised in the northern part of Louisiana. Upon graduation from Northeast Louisiana University, Monroe (now ULM), in 1971, my life's journey has contained much diversity. Marriage in 1972 to my spouse and life partner, Walter Green, and the raising of our two sons, Damian and Amigo, took place in the mountains of northern New Mexico. My world previously involved paralegal work as well as managing art galleries in both Taos and Santa Fe. It included the building of our home out of adobe and stone on the side of a mountain, as well as being immersed in a tri-cultural area. In 1999 we returned to Louisiana where I obtained my Master's in Elementary School Counseling from La. Tech University. This has led to my 11 year enjoyment with the Montessori children and families of Ruston.
